Why join SSGS?
Genealogical research offers you a great opportunity to gain knowledge not only about your ancestors but also about history, culture and yourself. By joining the SSGS you will become a member of the genealogical community in Switzerland. SSGS keeps you up-to-date on genealogical issues by its publications. It also provides opportunities for conferences, research trips as well as educational courses which will teach you how to conduct more complex research.
Becoming a member of the Swiss Society of Genealogical Studies entitles you to receive one yearbook as well as a newsletter.
The annual membership fee amounts to CHF 60.- for individual members, CHF 75.- for couples and CHF 60.- for collective membership such as: associations, societies, libraries, family groups etc. - For members abroad, the corresponding amount will be charged in EURO.
